A Simplistic Textbook

This book is OK for someone who has really no understanding of basic machines or is taking 101 level course in Physics/Mechanics. It was written for 18 year old kids in the Navy to provide a bit of practical training on the various things they may encounter on a ship. The print in the book is also very small, making it a challenge to read the text.
If you are looking for a book that describes and details various mechanisms that have been invented and employed thru the years, this is not the book for you.

Good study for those who would like to better understand machines and physics

This is a good reference book as well as learning tool for anyone who would like to learn about simple and complex machines alike. There is a practicle application of physics with each machine as well as graphic representations.
I would recomend this book for people who want to continue learning about science, machinery, and how technology works independently as well as with machines working in harmony.
